UDMTEK (CEO Wang Ji-nam, 389680) announced on the 5th that it will officially launch its next-generation integrated control platform, OPTRA Platform, at the 2025 Smart Factory + Automation World (AW2025), to be held at COEX from March 12 to 14.
This new product builds upon the capabilities of the OPTRA Black-Box solution—designed to diagnose equipment conditions and support preventive maintenance—transforming it into an innovative, AI-driven integrated software platform. The OPTRA Platform supports ▲ real-time engineering, ▲ control monitoring, ▲ generative AI application solutions, and ▲ MES (Manufacturing Execution System) integration.
AI-Based Integrated Solution Across Industries
The OPTRA Platform is a web-based integrated control system designed for intuitive use anytime, anywhere, and adaptable to diverse industrial environments. It enables systematic management of equipment, production, quality, and safety, while its generative AI-powered analysis and automatic reporting functions provide workers with actionable, data-driven insights for effective decision-making.
Equipped with a high-speed time-series database, the platform separates data collection from analysis, ensuring rapid processing and multi-dimensional data utilization. This architecture supports advanced AI capabilities such as ▲ equipment anomaly detection, ▲ quality monitoring, and ▲ automated generation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reports.
The platform currently offers process analysis by linking on-site CCTV footage with control signals, with future plans to introduce digital twin analytics that integrate 3D virtual factory models with control signal data.
PoC Initiatives with H Automotive and Global Partners
UDMTEK is piloting the OPTRA Platform as a fully integrated system at H Automotive—where its technologies are widely implemented—and is expanding its deployment to domestic and international production lines of supply chain partners (S Corp) and machinery manufacturers (I Corp, J Corp).
The platform’s core technology is already delivering measurable results in real-world operations. At S Corp’s overseas production line for flexible PCBs—critical components in smart devices—it has improved productivity, reduced capital expenditure on equipment, and was recognized as an exemplary implementation case. UDMTEK is currently in discussions with major Korean conglomerates for broader adoption and is conducting performance tests for power plant applications.
Internationally, Proof of Concept (PoC) projects are progressing rapidly, with a particular focus on the U.S. market. The company has installed the OPTRA Black-Box at L Corp in the U.S. as part of an ongoing PoC, while also collaborating with manufacturing firms in the U.S. East Coast (M Corp, A Corp). In Japan, UDMTEK is maintaining active collaboration with major trading companies and automotive parts manufacturers.
