PLC Logic Verification Checklist
I/O Usage Check
  • Verifies how many I/O contacts are actually used in the logic.
  • Out of 4,681 total contacts, 1,667 were identified as unused.
Duplicate Coil Check
  • Identifies if a coil contact is used more than once.
  • In case of duplicates, only the last logic is valid; earlier ones are ignored.
Temporary Contact Check
  • Detects if temporary contacts remain in the program.
  • Tags like “TEMP” or “TEST” indicate temporary contacts (more can be added through settings).
Safety Interlock Check
  • Confirms that “Operation Ready” contacts are linked to “Emergency Stop.”
  • If not connected after operation ready, safety risks can occur.
  • Additional naming rules for operation ready/emergency stop can be added via settings.
