UDMTEK announced on the 27th that it was finally selected as an 'AI Factory Specialist Company' by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Planning. 

With this selection, UDMTEK​ has secured its status as a key supplier for autonomous manufacturing (AI Factory), officially certified by the government. It is expected to benefit from both policy support and enhanced market trust over the next two years.

The "AI Factory Specialist Selection" is a strategic initiative designed to identify and foster companies with AI-based autonomous manufacturing capabilities to strengthen the nation's manufacturing competitiveness. In this evaluation, UDMTEK was comprehensively recognized for its scalability, proven through its track record as a global manufacturing company, and its ongoing R&D investment strategy.

The company's core platform, 'OPTRA Platform,' integrates and analyzes facility control signals, sensors, and image data to go beyond simple monitoring and support predictive maintenance, quality inspection automation, autonomous production line operation, and generative AI-based process management. 

In particular, the Machine Language Processing (MLP)-based control data interpretation technology transforms PLC control signals and process logic into a white-box structure that AI can directly interpret. This dramatically increases field applicability, enabling early detection of equipment failures, root cause analysis, and self-adaptive learning, the company explained.

UDMTEK plans to continue investing in R&D to advance AI-based autonomous facility-robot collaborative control technology, industrial safety prediction and prevention AI technology (JSA+SHE), and energy optimization solutions.
